Precise coating thickness gauge according to the ultrasonic-pulse elapsed time method. The QuintSonic 7 allows you to measure up to 5 layers in one measurement process. Polymer layers (such as paints, lacquers and plastics) can be measured as can layers of glass, ceramic or metal on almost any surface. As the first device of its kind, the QuintSonic 7 makes it possible to measure the coating on fibre-reinforced composite materials, such as GRP, CFK or WPC. An intelligent evaluation of the measured ultrasound signal enables speedy acquisition of more than 40 measurements per minute.
