Scratch Test Station acc. to BMW/ ERICHSEN Model 450

The Model 450 scratch test station, according to BMW/ERICHSEN, is a PLC-controlled test system for carrying out scratch tests on paint and plastic surfaces. It consists of a base unit and a control unit. The base unit includes a servomotor-driven XY sample table and a manual Z drive with universal tool holder and pneumatic tool feed. The test load can be varied using slip-on weights. A touch screen input field built into the control unit is used for operating the unit.
