Visco Test Blade acc. Rossmann, Model 301
Viscosity
There is a simple procedure for estimating the processing consistency of paints: The liquid is stirred with a spatula-type blade, then extracted out on the spatula, and the time that it takes to drip off the spatula is measured. Due to the influence of the surface tension, it is usually difficult to detect the end point of this drainage. For the Model 301, however, the influence of surface tension is low and the end point of the flow is precisely defined. The Visco test blade is designed so that it can quickly detect the spray and paint viscosity of paints and coatings. It also can be used as a stirrer during the dilution and as a measuring device for the consistency of the material.
